Award winners Martin Kaemmerle (left) and Johann Wohlfahrt (right) after the award ceremony.
Johann Wohlfahrt was able to conclude his training for an industrial mechanic at myonic already after 3 years due to his performance beyond average. Martin Kaemmerle made an appren-ticeship as a plant and machine operator and started a second training as an industrial mechanic in September 2012.
On the occasion of this ceremony the Chairman of the junior chamber international Bodensee-Oberschwaben, Mark Joachim, held a speech with the topic "to live free of stress, to live self-confidently". He asked the young people to go their own way and to live their freedom but "more freedom means taking up more responsibility" said Mark Joachim. Markus Brunnbauer, Head of the business section training in the Chamber of Commerce, empha-sized that there has never been such a high number of male and female award winners. He thanked the trainers present as well as repre-sentatives of the vocational schools for their commitment in the dual vocational training.
We are proud on our young trainees and wish Mr. Kaemmerle and Mr. Wohlfahrt all the best for their professional future.

Internship abroad at myonic

The intern Stephen McNeil (left) and Eric Yomantas (right)
September 2010 - "During the summer of 2010, we were fortunate enough to participate in an internship for myonic in Germany. We both currently major in Business Administration at Pepperdine University in California, USA, and needed a summer business internship for our curriculum. Our nine week program consisted of a rotation among various company departments, including Quality Management, Business Development, Logistics, Assembly, Process Engineering and Finance/Controlling. We received instruction and education regarding the department purpose and functions, and were given various relevant tasks to complete.
In addition to the rotational aspect, we worked on a project for the duration of our time at the company. Under the supervision of Mr. Sgier (QMR), the project consisted of creating an intranet for myonic. This intranet serves as an online database to hold company information, share files and manage data. After research and development, the intranet was created and presented to the key employees.
Another key aspect to our internship was the week spent at myonic Rožnov, Czech Republic. We engaged in the assembly of a bearing order, and performed nearly every step of the bearing assembly process. We appreciated the kind welcome and hospitality we received from the entire Rožnov staff.
Overall, our internship with myonic was excellent, and we learned much which we can apply to our studies and career plans. We certainly enjoyed our experience at myonic, and appreciated the positive, friendly, and diligent work environment. We would especially like to thank the employees for all of their direction and kindness, as well as the help extended to us to develop our skills in business and the German language. It was an exceptional experience and we appreciated the extensive help and support."
Diploma Thesis in Procurement for the Aero Project

Diplomate 08: Stefan Brack
The foci were on the areas of supply strategy, supply market research, supplier analysis and selection, and achieving process reliability with new partners. The excellent employee support and pleasant work environment at the company made it possible for me to create a good paper that was highly interesting to me. I would like to thank everyone who helped me. I would especially like to mention Robert Schneider and Michael Schlindwein, who influenced my paper decisively with their great technical knowledge and dedication."
