40 years of myonic in Leutkirch – 40 years of reliability and precision

Leutkirch - Friday the 13th – for myonic this was a day to celebrate, 13th June 2008, and we celebrated in style together with our employees and guests, and looked back on the 40-year history of the company.
The festivities began on Friday with a gala evening of entertainment in an elegantly decorated marquee in the company car park. First the employees had to sweat a bit though; they put on ponchos and painted a total of 144 individual squares which were then joined together afterwards to form a colourful picture of the company logo. The highlight of the evening was the unveiling of this joint work of art.
As well as the official speeches, the guests’ every wish was catered for: there were delights for the palate, eye and ear, and people danced into the night.
On Saturday afternoon the festivities continued with an open day for the employees and their families. On this day, a total of about 1,200 people visited myonic GmbH. The biggest attraction, of course, was a tour of the factory. Families were at last given the opportunity to get a closer look at their loved ones’ workplaces and learn from the staff how our products are created.
On a lighter note, the myonic Football Cup pitted 13 teams from different departments against each other in a gigantic inflatable football pitch. It was a chance for the youngest members to show what they were capable of. The teams of trainees, “Hobby-Kickers”, won the cup. For more information check out “Staff events”.
